Maggi Simpkins is an expert custom jewelry designer who creates at the intersection of luxury hand-crafted jewelry and social consciousness

An heirloom is a time-traveling piece passed down through the hands of generations, each fingerprint telling a story that becomes part of the next one

Maggi Simpkins fell in love with the magic of heirlooms listening to her mom tell family stories about the pieces in her jewelry box. The magic sparked a passion in her.

Maggi began making jewelry as a child. She started designing jewelry professionally in 2009. In 2015 “I made an engagement ring for a friend. When I showed it to him, he was speechless. I saw how powerful it was to be part of this important moment in life — the joy was palpable. I realized this is why I create things.” that was the moment she decided to focus on creating one-of-a-kind engagement rings. “Most of my work is really ‘narrative-driven’. I sit with my clients and listen to their love stories, what makes their partner special, unique. I incorporate hidden details and symbols throughout the ring, sometimes so hidden that only they know it is there.”

“I am proud that people trust me with their stories, and that they trust me to make such significant pieces. I get to make heirlooms that symbolize sacred things and sacred times, and that feels like an extremely special task. I am grateful people trust me to do that for them."
